Mapuru Housing Restorations

Marthakal engaged Jenarc to deliver housing upgrades to the remote Homeland of Mapuru in North East Arnhem Land - a project that had been stalled for years due to its challenging location.

Jenarc managed the complexities of remote delivery through running a competitive procurement process to secure a builder, coordinating logistics and overcoming access challenges, and visiting site regularly to ensure the residents' needs were reflected in the delivery.

Despite these challenges, Jenarc effectively coordinated between Marthakal, the Northern Territory Government, and WTD to deliver the project within 1 year.

Jenarc is now working with Marthakal and the Government on the next round of housing upgrades in Marthakal Homelands.
